Emophina
A downloadable game
A short and free game I made in RPG maker mz as a gymnasium project. It's my first time ever attempting something like this so feel free to comment about any bugs you might find or just to give advice.
In the game you play as Helena a young elf girl who likes exploring, but her mother has always been a bit protective and is even more so after her brother disappeared when they were kids. Will Helena ever be able to explore the world further or will she stay?
The playtime can be anywhere from 25 minutes to 45 depending on how fast you play, read and how much you explore. This is simply the first chapter for a story that I may or may not continue hence the open-end tag.
The word count is around 6k so there is a bit of dialouge and several cutscenes aswell.
I used three assets when I created this game so shoutout to the creators for sharing these amazing assets for free!

Well done! I'm sure if you continue the story it would be cool. Definitely something to be proud of!
Thank you! This is kind of embarrassing but I actually forgot to set a certain condition for the choice you got which led to an early ending and like 60% of the game was locked out (°□°;) You essencially got forced into the bad ending so I am sorry for that, if you want to know how the game is actually meant to be I've updated it now so it's correct (´ ∀ ` *) I noticed that you uploaded some games of your own so I'll definitely check them out!
It's all good! Thanks for letting me know so I can continue the game! If you happen to play any of my games, I hope you enjoy. Keep up the great work!
